Today we go to know that what is inside the earth so let's start

Earth is divided into three layers:-
  1. Crust,
  2. Mental,
  3. Core


  • Crust, First layer of Earth.

Where we can walk and run this is the most outer layer which is known as crust. This layer is made up of rocks and stones. It is very thin layer and it is is very solid layer. There are two types of the upper layer that is oceanic crust and other is continental crust.

  • Mental, Second layer of Earth.

Now second layer is the mental this is the largest layer of the earth it is 2900 kilometre deep its temperature is 400° Celsius. The upper layer of mental layer is known as lithosphere. This is the middle part of the mental and crust due to the free space of lithosphere the hot Magma is comes out on the surface of the earth and  from volcanoes it escape in the form of Lava. Lithosphere is floating on the semi liquid layer that is known as asthenosphere this is also known as upper part of mental. This asthenosphere is made by the material like a plastic.



  • Core, Third layer of Earth.

Now let's enter in the core part of the earth and this part is also divided into two parts. That's upper part is known as outer core and other part is known as inner core and the upper part is also known as liquid core and the inner part is solid core.


Outer core of the earth.

The first part of core (outer core) is found at the distance of 5100 km from the Earth surface and this is made up of iron.

 Now the question arises that's this is made of iron but why it is found in the liquid form??

This is due to the temperature of the outer core is 4500 degree Celsius and the iron is melt at 1500 degree Celsius so it is known as liquid core and found in the liquid form of iron. 
Due to the outer core the magnetic field is produced on the earth surface that can help us to use the compass in easy way.


Inner core of the earth.

It is 1200 km deep. Solid layers is found 6370 kilometre inside from the surface of earth. It is made by the combination of solid iron and nickel and temperature of this layer is 6000 degree Celsius and the temperature of the sun is also almost 6000 degree celsius.

 Now you also think why this layer exist in the solid form?

According to scientists due to the pressure of outer layer it exist in the solid form.



Now you think how we can able to know about these things??

There are two waves to study about the Earth's shape and size:-
  1. To study the shape and size of earth we used the seismic waves. The speed of these waves depend on density we can use the travel-time of seismic waves to map change in density with depth of Earth's layers and these waves are able to to change the density of the rocks.
  2. The second way to study about the earth's structure is that "study of the deep rocks". means that rocks which are available in the core of the earth and these are comes out by the volcanoes due to these rocks we can able to know about the earth's surface from inside.
